What services do you offer?
Northwest Indiana Pet Care offers in-home pet sitting, boarding, dog walking, and daycare services.

Is Northwest Indiana Pet Care, LLC bonded and insured?
Yes! We are bonded and fully insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

What is your inclement weather policy?
Sometimes, heavy rain and snowstorms may change your schedule or affect our workday as we continue to care for your pets.

On inclement weather days, clients who have recurring visits have the option to cancel without being charged.

For dog walks, we may take your dog outside for a quick potty trip, then spend the rest of our visit playing inside.

NWI Pet Care reserves the right to change times, length of visits and/or cancel scheduled visits if weather conditions make it dangerous to walk or drive. We will make every effort to complete visits for those who are out of town. We will notify your emergency contact if it is not possible to safely get to your home.

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that your schedule may change and you may no longer need our services. Please contact us as soon as you can so we can cancel your reservation.

For new clients: The 100% non-refundable non-transferable reservation fee will NOT be refunded if services canceled after the meet & greet is completed.

For existing clients: 100% of the invoice total will be due and/or retained for any cancellation not made 3-day prior to the start date of the reservation. Refunds for cancellations due to an emergency, death, or severe weather will be taken into consideration.

Do you do pack walks?
We do not walk multiple dogs from different households at the same time.

How many visits will my pets need per day?
Going out of town?

For cats, our visit minimum is 1 visit per day to ensure your cat is safe, has access to food and water, and has a clean litter-box while you’re away.

For dogs, we recommend 3 visits per day. If they have access to potty pads or a doggy door, they may have just two visits per day.
